There are a number of photography/camera clubs throughout the state where enthusiasts can meet other people with the same interest to share knowledge and experiences. Information regarding these groups and related activities is available from a number of sources.
Local Councils
Most local councils have information regarding the various craft groups and activities available in the local community. Many have a free Community Directory which lists these and many more activities. If not available in print form, your local Council may be able to provide a list upon request or may have the information on their website. The South Australian Photographic Federation
This organisation encourages and promotes amateur photography in SA. The website has contact details for its affiliated clubs a well as information regarding current and forthcoming exhibitions, workshops and other related activities. It is affiliated with the Australian Photographic Society and the Photographic Society of America with links to these organisation’s websites.
Australian Institute of Professional Photography South Australia
