Learning a musical instrument
Have you always wanted to learn a musical instrument but were lacking the time or the opportunity? There are numerous music teachers throughout Adelaide who offer tuition to adults who want the satisfaction of mastering a new skill and making music. Some instruments are available for hire or can be purchased second-hand. So whether your tastes are classical, rock, jazz, blues, country or hip hop, there is someone who can help you get started. Lessons can be taken individually, but sometimes small group tuition is available.

Workers’ Education Association (WEA)
A wide variety of music classes are available at the WEA. Whether it’s basic guitar, keyboard, Irish tin whistle, banjo or even the bagpipes, beginners are welcome. Course guides are published quarterly.
